How To Use?

1. Create a grid layout by placing pedestals in a linear fashion at the edge of the paved area. The spacing of pedestals depends on the type of joist used (250-300 mm for wooden joists, 400-500 mm for metal joists).

2. Position joists on the pedestals, ensuring they are at right angles to the desired plank direction. Adjust joist height using pedestal bases and ensure joists are level.

3. Secure the joists to the pedestal's joist cradle.

4. Support butt joints with pedestals and use joist cradles for fixed connections between connecting joists, enhancing structural support.

5. Lay the deck onto the support frame, securing it to the joists with screws, row by row.

How do I calculate the number of decking pedestals needed?
 

This is determined based on the material, size, etc. of the joist. Generally speaking, it is recommended to place wooden joists at a distance of about 35cm. It is recommended that metal joists be placed at a distance of 40-50cm.
